happy easter!

happy easter everyone. thank you to my wonderful mom AND AMAZING FATHER who sent me this delicious chocolate spread from harrods department store in london. i’m spending my last day in rome and headed home to lovely ol’ galway this evening.

enjoy your beautiful easter sundays, eat lots of chocolate and candy, and skip through fields of flowers.

if you’re lucky enough to be in rome for easter, you’re lucky enough

edit: how dare i leave out the poor ol’ dad in my thank you for chocolates? please forgive me father. i know mom wouldn’t have even been in london if it weren’t for you and your work schedule demanding it! thank you, thank you, thank you!

where in the world am i?

after two glorious days in venice, lauren and i are headed to rome. this mornng we’re taking a bus from venice straight through to rome where will we be meeting andy steves and our tour group. i’m so excited. we have a jammed packed agenda over easter weekend and i cannot wait to see what he has in store for us.

i mentioned andy steves before, but if you have a chance, check out his website. he’s the son of rick steves, you know the travel writing guru, and has started his own travel company specifically for study abroad students. this will be my first guided trip and i cannot wait.

i hope you all have an equally exciting weekend as well. maybe try using the saying “when in rome” in my honor?

if you’re lucky enough to visit rome, you’re lucky enough
